While based on our original patented Stack design, the YJM Fury uses custom length alnico 5 rod magnets, and a unique coil architecture to bring you that perfect balance of sweet fluidity and articulation that is Yngwie J Malmsteen. This bridge model is designed to handle Yngwie’s chordal onslaught, and it delivers a precise, articulate response that has just the right amount of high end without sounding harsh or brittle. It is wound hotter to provide better balance with the neck & middle pickups.
Back in the 80s, we patented a special bottom coil that actually injects negative hum into the pickup circuit, and at the end of the production process we fine tune each pickup for maximum noise cancelation. Hand made in Santa Barbara, CA the YJM Fury noiseless Strat pickups use custom alnico 5 rod magnets, 4-conductor lead wire, and is wax potted for squeal free performance.
